Modernizing their old site to bring a bold and fresh new feel to the STEM market. This work is owned by Cyber-duck and will therefore be a high-level summery
Project Summery
In my role as a UX designer, I undertook a transformative journey to revamp the SThree website, enhancing user experience and aligning it with the company's vision. This overhaul was driven by a comprehensive approach that included user research, stakeholder workshops, competitor analysis, and a strategic simplification of the site's information architecture. The result is a user-centric digital space that not only meets the needs of SThree's audience but also reflects the company's commitment to innovation.
User Research
I initiated the project by delving deep into user research, conducting surveys, interviews, and usability testing. This data-driven approach helped me gain insights into user behaviours, pain points, and expectations.
Stakeholder workshops
Collaborating closely with key stakeholders, I facilitated workshops to align project objectives with business goals. Their valuable input guided decision-making and ensured that the website redesign would meet organizational requirements.
Competitor analysis
A thorough exploration of competitors' websites allowed me to identify industry best practices and opportunities for differentiation. This analysis informed our strategy to create a cutting-edge online presence.
Infomation Archutecture
By reimagining the website's information architecture, I streamlined the navigation, making it more intuitive and user-friendly. This reorganization maximized content discoverability and minimized user friction.
Wireframing and Sitemap
I translated insights and ideas into actionable solutions, producing wireframes and a detailed sitemap that served as the foundation for the redesign. These visual representations allowed for clear communication and alignment with the development team.
Conclusion
The SThree website overhaul project showcases my expertise in user-centred design, collaboration with stakeholders, and a holistic approach to information architecture. It's a testament to my commitment to elevating user experiences and driving digital innovation
